What is OLL?
OLL is a skill education platform that helps students develop practical skills they can use beyond the classroom. It brings together learning in Robotics, Coding, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Thinking, Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy, 3D Design and other technology-driven areas.
The philosophy is different from simply adding another subject to the timetable:
• A student learning robotics should get to build a robot.
• A student learning coding should get to create something with code.
• A student learning entrepreneurship should get to develop and present an idea.
• A student learning artificial intelligence should understand how AI works and explore where it can be applied.

What does "Skills for All" mean?
Skills for All is at the centre of OLL's identity. The future shouldn't belong only to students who already have access to specialised technology programs, advanced labs or expensive learning opportunities.
One student might discover robotics. Another might explore coding. Someone else might find an interest in AI, entrepreneurship, design or financial literacy. The starting point may be different for every learner. The opportunity to learn should not be.
That's what OLL - Skills for All represents: a vision of skill education where students can discover their interests, build practical capabilities and explore possibilities beyond traditional academics.
Why was OLL founded?
Education gives students knowledge. But knowledge alone doesn't always turn into capability. A student may understand a concept and still struggle to apply it in an unfamiliar situation.
Practical experience changes that. When students build something, they have to make decisions. When it fails, they troubleshoot. When it doesn't work as expected, they change their approach. These experiences build skills theory alone can't teach.
OLL was founded to make these experiences accessible to more students, with a mission to democratize skill education and empower every student with future-ready skills for the jobs of tomorrow.
The beginning: 4 April 2020
OLL was founded on 4 April 2020 in Mumbai. Over time it grew from individual learning experiences into a broader ecosystem connecting students, schools, educators and practical skill development through courses, school programs, workshops, projects and competitions.
Today OLL's programs span Robotics, Coding and Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Thinking, 3D Design and Printing, Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy, STEM and Technology, Project-Based Learning and Competitions. The common thread is practical application.
The founder story: who is Shreyaan Daga?
OLL was founded by Shreyaan Daga, whose entrepreneurial journey began years before OLL existed.

Founding OLL at 15 reflected a belief that entrepreneurship, financial literacy, technology, communication and problem-solving can all start much earlier when students have the right environment. That belief became part of OLL's foundation.
OLL on Shark Tank India
One of the defining moments in OLL's journey was its appearance on Shark Tank India. It brought OLL and its young founder to a national television audience and introduced its approach to skill education to viewers across the country.
For OLL, the significance went beyond TV visibility. It was a chance to present a different view of education: students shouldn't only be prepared to answer questions. They should also get the chance to build, create, communicate and solve problems.

OLL on Kaun Banega Crorepati
OLL's journey was later recognised on Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), bringing further national attention to its work in education and student empowerment. The recognition reinforced an idea central to OLL: students have enormous potential when they get the chance to explore skills beyond conventional academics.

From learning to doing: why hands-on learning matters
There's a big difference between knowing something and being able to use it.

A student can learn about motors, sensors and controllers from a textbook. But when they connect a sensor, write code and watch a robot respond, the concept becomes real. The same goes for coding, where a working project means understanding logic and fixing errors, and for entrepreneurship, where explaining why someone would use your idea teaches far more than reading about businesses.
That's why OLL puts hands-on learning at the centre of its programs. The classroom becomes a place to experiment. Projects become chances to solve problems. Failure becomes part of learning. And skills become something students can actually use.
The skills OLL teaches

OLL's work with schools
Schools are a core part of OLL's skill education ecosystem. OLL works with schools to bring practical, future-ready learning into the student experience. The aim isn't to replace academic education but to complement it, giving students chances to apply what they learn.

Through these partnerships, students get structured programs, practical activities, technology-based learning and competitions.
OLL at IIT Bombay Techfest
Skill development doesn't have to stop at the classroom. Students also need real challenges to test themselves. OLL's association wIth Techfest, IIT Bombay creates exactly that.
The OLL Robotics Championship gives school students a national platform to compete in robotics and show their technical and problem-solving abilities.

Students have to build something that works, test it, find its failures, improve the design and work as a team under constraints. These experiences build resilience, collaboration and problem-solving alongside technical skill. Competition kits are available at the OLL Robotics Shop.
Building future-ready learners
The world students will enter is changing fast. AI is transforming industries, robotics and automation are changing how work gets done, and digital technology is creating new products, businesses and careers. Students need more than technical knowledge. They need to get comfortable with learning, adapting and solving unfamiliar problems.

The goal isn't to predict what every student will become. It's to help them build a foundation that lets them adapt to whatever comes next.
The OLL learning journey
OLL's ecosystem is built as a progression, not a one-off learning event.

OLL's mission and vision

Mission
To democratize skill education and empower every student with future-ready skills that prepare them for the jobs of tomorrow. Education should prepare students for more than exams: to think critically, adapt to new technology, communicate well and solve problems they've never seen before.
Vision
To ignite the limitless potential of 1 billion learners every day by giving them access to limitless skills and a truly transformative learning experience. The goal is ambitious, but the idea is simple: millions of students have curiosity, ideas and potential, and they need opportunities to turn that potential into capability. OLL aims to build those opportunities at scale.
OLL today and the road ahead
Since 2020, OLL has grown into a broad skill education ecosystem serving students and schools. Its offerings include Robotics, Coding, AI and Machine Learning, Computational Thinking, 3D Design and Printing, Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy, workshops, learning centres, school programs and competitions.
The direction stays the same: make skill education more practical, more accessible and available to more learners.
The biggest challenge in education isn't teaching students more information. It's preparing them for a world where the tools and careers around them keep changing. Students entering the workforce a decade from now may use technologies that don't exist yet, which makes adaptability one of the most important things education can build.
OLL's goal isn't to tell students exactly what their future will look like. It's to help them become capable of building it.
OLL — Skills for All
OLL's story began with a young entrepreneur and a vision for a different kind of education. Since 2020, that vision has grown through students, schools, educators, programs, national platforms and competitions.
From a student building their first robot to a team competing at IIT Bombay Techfest, every practical experience can be the start of something bigger. A coding project can spark an interest in technology. A business idea can become an entrepreneurial journey. An AI experiment can become a career direction. And a failed prototype can teach more than a correct answer ever could.
That's the kind of learning OLL wants to create: not learning that ends when the lesson ends, but learning students can use, build on and carry into the future.
